Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam or simply Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam (15th Oct. 1931-27th July 2015) is known as the Missile Man of India and the architect of Indian Space. He was born and brought up in a humble Muslim family in Rameshwaram, a southern town of India. He started his career as a young scientist, shaped and secured India’s strength in science and space.
